YUAN YANG (FEB. 20th-26th)
Experience the breathtaking artistry of Yuanyang’s rice terraces. Join us, Rarindra and master of landscape, Steve Chong, master who have explored Yuanyang dozens of times, for an immersive photography journey to document the ancient land-sculpting traditions of the Hani and Yi people.
Here is the details of the journey:
DAY 01: ( ARRIVE KUNMING)
Assemble with the team in Kunming, the "City of Eternal Spring". After checking into the hotel, we will gather for an introductory dinner to discuss the week's shooting schedule.
DAY 02: (THE JOURNEY TO THE TERRACES)
After breakfast, we depart for Yuan Yang. Upon arrival, we head straight to the field to capture the dramatic late-afternoon light. Our first session features sunset photography at the massive Tiger’s Mouth (Laohuzui) or the expansive BaDa terraces

DAY 3 - 5: IMMERSION IN YUAN YANG
Over these three days, we focus on the interplay of light and water. We will visit DuoYiShu for its legendary sunrise mist and the "Blue Paddy Fields" where the sky reflects perfectly in the flooded terraces.
Cultural photography takes place in JingKou and AhZheKe Village, where traditional architecture and local customs remain intact. We will also explore Quan Fu Zhuang for unique compositions of the terraced lines.

Day 6: SUNRISE FINALE & RETURN YO KUNMING
One final sunrise session allows us to capture any fleeting conditions we may have missed earlier in the week. Afterward, we begin the drive back to Kunming. The evening is reserved for "free and easy" time, allowing for city exploration or rest

Enjoy a final group breakfast before transferring to the airport for your onward journey.

Payment Details:
- Deposit: USD 600 (non-refundable) due by Jul 31st, 2026 (100% Refund if organizer cancel the trip)
- Balance: Due by Dec 15th, 2026. (The amount of balance will be updated to follow the final amount of participants registered--please see the pricing terms.)
1. To maintain the quality and operational security of our photography trips, the following policy applies to all participants. We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance immediately after booking.
2. Non-Refundable Deposit. This amount is strictly non-refundable, covering administrative costs and non-recoverable prepayments to local vendors.
3. Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days before the confirmed trip starts. (Dec 20th 2026)
4. Cancellations after Full Payment: If you cancel after settling the balance, the refund of the Balance Amount (Total Price minus Deposit) is as follows:
45 – 60 days before start date: 50% refund of the balance..
Less than 45 days before start date: No refund.
