Day 1 – Thursday, June 17: Arrival in Padang & Transfer to Bukittinggi
Arrival: Participants arrive at Minangkabau International Airport (Padang) no later than 2:00 PM (accessible via direct flights from Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur).
Transfer: Private chartered bus departs directly to Bukittinggi.
Accommodation: Hotel check-in and overnight stay in Bukittinggi.

Day 2 – Friday, June 18: River Session & Historic Rumah Gadang
Morning: Early morning departure to a scenic, shallow river for a themed shoot featuring children's activities and waterside art concepts.
Afternoon: Head to an artistic, ±100-year-old traditional Minangkabau Rumah Gadang. The session includes a traditional plate dance (Tari Piring) performance as well as indoor and outdoor portraits utilizing the historic architecture.
Night: Overnight stay in Bukittinggi.

Day 3 – Saturday, June 19: Pacu Jawi & Transfer to Padang
Morning (9:00 AM): Depart the hotel for Batusangkar for the main event: the dramatic Pacu Jawi (mud bull race).
Afternoon (3:00 PM): Conclude shooting and travel directly to Padang city.
Accommodation: Hotel check-in and overnight stay in Padang.

Day 4 – Sunday, June 20: Padang to Jakarta Flight
Activities: Hotel check-out, airport transfer, and flight back to Jakarta.
Night: Rest and overnight stay in/around Jakarta to prepare for the upcoming conceptual sessions.

Location: Studio located approximately 1 hour from Jakarta.

Day 7 – Wednesday, June 23: Jakarta to Banjarmasin & 200-Year-Old Banjar House
Morning: Morning flight from Jakarta to Banjarmasin.
Afternoon: Arrive in Banjarmasin and head straight to a 200+ year-old traditional Banjar house for environmental portraits and human-interest documentation of the heirs and family members.
Accommodation: Hotel check-in and overnight stay in Banjarmasin.

Day 8 – Thursday, June 24: Floating Market & Dayak Dancers
Morning: Floating market photo shoot (combining authentic local trading with staged boat setups).
Afternoon: Cultural portrait session featuring three professional Dayak dancers in authentic traditional attire adorned with hornbill feathers.
Night: Overnight stay in Banjarmasin.

Day 9: June 25 – Local Tengger Culture & Departure
Morning portrait session with a local Tenggerese family/couple in their traditional plantation and kitchen setting.
10:00: Check-out and transfer from Bromo to Juanda International Airport, Surabaya (SUB).
15:00: Estimated arrival at Surabaya Airport. Trip officially ends.
Participants may proceed with evening outbound flights or check in to an airport hotel for flights the following day (May 30)

What to Bring:
Camera Bodies: Two camera bodies recommended (main body + backup).
Lenses: Versatile range covering wide-angle to telephoto:
16–35mm / 24–70mm (landscapes & environmental portraits)
70–200mm (Action Shots & Compression Portraits): An ideal lens range for capturing fast-paced action while delivering dramatic background compression for portraits.
100–400mm (Ideal Lens Range for Cow Races): The optimal focal length range for comfortably photographing bull or cow racing events from a distance.
Alternative Use of 70–200mm: If a longer focal length is unavailable, a 70–200mm lens remains a viable option, provided you make use of digital cropping during post-processing.
Lighting Triggers: Godox 2.4G wireless trigger (e.g., Godox XPro, XPro II, X2T, or X3).
Accessories: Extra memory cards, spare batteries, dust/rain cover for camera (especially useful in cow race).
