Day 1: May 21 – Arrival in Bali
PM: Arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), Bali. Check-in to our hotel located 10 min. from the airport.
Evening: Meet & greet and welcome dinner.

Day 2: May 22 – Bali to West Sumba & Ratenggaro Village
07:00: Depart hotel to Bali Airport for flight to Sumba (09:10 departure).
10:20: Arrive at Tambolaka Airport (West Sumba), transfer to hotel, and enjoy lunch.
PM: Visit the iconic Ratenggaro Traditional Village by the beach. Photography session focusing on environmental portraits of local children on horseback.

Day 3: May 23 – Traditional Villages & Cultural Portraits
AM: Morning excursion to Praijing Village for environmental portraits in a picturesque hilltop megalithic village, famous for traditional ikat weaving.
PM: Visit Umbu Koba Village for an authentic portrait session featuring adults in traditional leather attire and accessories.
Overnight: West Sumba

Day 4: May 24 – Weekacura Waterfall to East Sumba
05:00: Drive (1 hour) and short walk (15 mins) to Weekacura Waterfall, capturing farmers and local families amidst natural stepped rice fields.
Late Morning: Return to hotel, check-out, and begin the 4-hour scenic drive to East Sumba.
15:00: Arrive and check-in at the hotel in East Sumba.
15:30: Sunset photography session at Walakiri Beach, featuring the famous "dancing" mangrove trees, locals, and horses.
Overnight: East Sumba

Day 5: May 25 – Warinding Hills & Dapayami Hills
05:00: Sunrise and morning shoot at Warinding Hills (capturing expansive rolling savannah landscapes and environmental portraits).
15:00: Afternoon and golden hour shoot at Dapayami Hills focusing on dramatic landscapes and local cultural dancers.
Overnight: East Sumba

Day 6: May 26 – Walakiri Sunrise & Return to West Sumba
05:00: Sunrise photography for second session at Walakiri Beach. This time is scenery shoot.
09:00: Check-out and overland journey back to West Sumba (approx. 4 hours with a lunch stop en route).
15:00: Arrive in West Sumba, check-in to the hotel, rest, and prepare gear for the next leg.

Day 7: May 27 – Sumba to Mount Bromo
Morning: Breakfast and transfer to Tambolaka Airport for the 10:50 flight to Surabaya (ETA 11:30).
12:30: Lunch, followed by private overland drive to the Mount Bromo area (approx. 2.5–3 hours).
16:00: Arrive in Bromo. First afternoon photo session: Jumping horse action shoot against the dramatic volcanic backdrop during sunset.

Day 8: May 28 – Mount Bromo Highlights
Early AM: Sunrise shoot and environmental portraits with local Tenggerese horsemen at Metigen.
Afternoon: Dynamic action session capturing the iconic "March of the Horses" across the Sea of Sand (Laut Pasir).
Overnight: Bromo

Day 9: May 29 – Local Tengger Culture & Departure
Morning portrait session with a local Tenggerese family/couple in their traditional plantation and kitchen setting.
10:00: Check-out and transfer from Bromo to Juanda International Airport, Surabaya (SUB).
15:00: Estimated arrival at Surabaya Airport. Trip officially ends.
Participants may proceed with evening outbound flights or check in to an airport hotel for flights the following day (May 30)

The grand Vesak (Waisak) Festival takes place at Borobudur Temple, Yogyakarta, on May 20 (one day before our tour starts in Bali). If you wish to capture this extraordinary cultural event, you may plan an early arrival independently, as it is not included in our tour itinerary.

Accommodation: Single occupancy in 3 & 4 stars hotels throughout the trip (Bali, Sumba, and Bromo). Except Bromo, which is location preferred than quality accommodation.

Camera Bodies: Two camera bodies recommended (main body + backup).
Lenses: Versatile range covering wide-angle to telephoto:
16–35mm / 24–70mm (landscapes & environmental portraits)
70–200mm (action shots & compression portraits)
Lighting Triggers: Godox 2.4G wireless trigger (e.g., Godox XPro, XPro II, X2T, or X3).
Accessories: Tripod is optional, extra memory cards, spare batteries, dust/rain cover for camera (especially useful in Bromo's sandy environment).
